If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles that the roller blind couplings are broken at the roller blind, this may be caused by the
journal of the roller blind shaft becoming bonded to the adhesive tape (Figure 1 and 2). When the roller blind is opened, the drive cable travels
upward and the roller blind does not roll up causing it to become detached at the adhesive tape. The roller blind couplings may break.
To resolve, remove the adhesive tape and install new roller blind couplings. Refer to WIS document AR77.21-P-0221RT for roller blind couplings
replacement. The design of the roller blind couplings has since been modified for increased rigidity and reinforcement at the adjustment screw.
