Check Tire Pressure Label, Replace if Required
This Service Campaign has been initiated because Daimler AG (DAG) has determined that an incorrect Tire Pressure label may have been installed
on the Left B-Pillar. Dealers will check the tire pressure label and replace, if required, at the next workshop visit. Additionally, Dealers will correct
the tire pressure if necessary
Prior to performing this Service Campaign:
^ Please check VMI to determine if the vehicle is involved in the Campaign and if it has been previously repaired.
^ Please review the entire Service Campaign bulletin and follow the repair procedure exactly as described.
Please note that Recall and Service Campaigns do not expire and may also be performed on a vehicle with a vehicle status indicator.
Approximately 39 vehicles are affected.
Procedure
1. Check air pressure specifications on tire pressure label (Figure 1) on the left B-pillar:
Note:
Only vehicles with rear wheel drive (2WD).

^ If air pressure specifications of 36 psi are indicated at FRONT GAWR: procedure is complete.
^ If air pressure specifications of 32 psi are indicated at FRONT GAWR: continue with procedure.
2. Remove tire pressure label from left B-pillar.
3. Clean contact surface to remove old adhesive prior to installing the new label.
4. Affix new tire pressure label (Figure 1) to same location on the B-pillar.
5. Check tire pressure for all wheels and correct if necessary.
Note:
Check and confirm content of tire pressure label for conformity to the chassis number and the fuel door tire air pressure label.
