Reason for change
Complaint:
The Parktronic system gives a collision warning with signal tone although no obstacle is present.
Note:
There is no fault code in the PTS control unit.

Cause:
The installed decoupling ring can cause sound coupling effects between the ultrasonic sensor and the bumper.
Remedy:
Install new decoupling ring on all ultrasonic sensors of the affected bumper.
Note:
When assembling the ultrasonic sensors with the new decoupling rings, make sure that they are correctly seated and centered in the bumper! For
this, please refer to the attachment.
