Check Seam Seal in Right Side Underbody
This Service Campaign has been initiated because Daimler AG (DAG) has determined that a right side underbody seam seal may not meet
specifications. Dealers will check, and if required, apply seam seal to the underbody, at the next workshop visit.
Prior to performing this Service Campaign:
^ Please check VMI to determine if the vehicle is involved in the Campaign and if it has been previously repaired.
^ Please review the entire Service Campaign bulletin and follow the repair procedure exactly as described.
Please note that Recall and Service Campaigns do not expire and may also be performed on a vehicle with a vehicle status indicator.
Approximately 2,240 vehicles are affected.
Procedure
Mercedes Benz Truck GLK 350 182
1. Check PVC seam at under floor on the right (arrows, Figure 1).
^ If PVC seam at under floor is not damaged: Procedure is complete.
^ If PVC seam at underfloor is damaged: proceed to step 2.
2. Clean seam seal area (use shop supply cleaner part no. A 005 989 1971) then rework seam seal with body sealant.

using any other part(s) will not have been performed in accordance with the campaign. Accordingly, warranty claims submitted with reference to
