Complaint:
- The navigation function boots only as far as the Becker logo.
- The display in the navigation function freezes.
- The startup time of the navigation function takes a long time (up to 60 seconds).
- The display responds with a delay when the navigation function is operated.

Remedy:
Perform the following software updates in the navigation module (A2/30):
1.) Update interface software (Automotive Software) in navigation module (A2/30) to version 12/21.00 (A 166 902 73 04) or higher using
XENTRY Diagnostics. The software is available as of XENTRY Diagnostics Release 09/12.
2.) Update firmware in navigation module (A2/30) to version R22.3.1205 (available since Week 37/12) or higher using Becker Content Manager.
3.) Update navigation software (PND software) in navigation module (A2/30) to version 2.0.50 (available since Week 37/12) or higher using
Becker Content Manager.
Note:
The updates of the navigation software (PND software) including firmware must be performed using the current Becker Content Manager. The
checks for updates on launching the Becker Content Manager must be activated in the "Settings" menu (see attachment). To update the
navigation software, it may be necessary to perform a free-of-charge update of the map data at the same time. Detailed information can be found
at www.beckermappilot.com. The update process can take up to several hours depending on your Internet connection.
