Change to Attachment Point Shielding on Right Main Floor
As of November 2, 2009 production, the inner right mounting point of the right shielding has been displaced.
The shielding on the right main floor A 204 682 90 71 replaces the previous replacement part A 204 682 04 71, or A 204 682 76 71, or A 204 682
79 71. The part A 204 682 90 71 can be used for vehicles up to and as of production November 2009 production. The required mounting hole still

Depending on the vehicle production time, the mounting hole must be drilled or punched in the shielding at one of three markings A, B or C (Figure
1).
On vehicles up to Production February 29, 2008, the marking A (Figure 1) must be punched out in the form of a elongated hole. At the marking A
(Figure 1) there is no more embossing, the threaded connection at this point must therefore take place with the combination nut/washer A 002 990 09
50.
On vehicles as of production March 1, 2008, the marking B (Figure 1) is to be punched out in the form of an elongated hole.
The marking C (Figure 1) is to be drilled on vehicles as of production November 2, 2009.
