Cleaning Tin-Plated Surfaces
Prior to painting tin-plated surfaces do the following:
Procedure
1.
Heat with an infrared portable radiant drying unit for approximately 15 minutes.

2. After the surface has cooled sufficiently, clean the area thoroughly with sheet-metal cleaner or degreasing agent.
3. Paint with approved painting material.
