It has been a long-requested combination, and as of January 1, 2026, Ram has officially announced the first-ever factory Ram Power Wagon equipped with the 6.7L Cummins Turbo Diesel.
While the Power Wagon has been an off-road icon since 1945, it was historically restricted to gasoline engines (most recently the 6.4L HEMI V8) because the massive cooling requirements of the diesel engine left no room for the Power Wagon's signature front-mounted winch.

Off-Road Hardware
Despite the heavier engine, Ram has kept the core features that make it a "Power Wagon":
Locking Differentials: Electronic front and rear lockers (the front axle was specially re-engineered to handle the diesel's weight and torque).
10 Sway Bar Disconnect: The class-exclusive electronic front sway bar disconnect remains for maximum articulation.
11 Suspension: Bilstein monotube shocks and a five-link coil rear suspension.
12 Protection: Integrated underbody skid plates for the fuel tank, transfer case, and DEF tank.

The "Big Compromise"
To fit the High-Output Cummins and its necessary cooling modules (intercooler and radiator), the factory-installed Warn winch has been removed.
