4. Verify that DTC B0081 11 is not set.



瀚慖f DTC B0081 11 sets, perform the preload test. If the preload test fails, repeat the test.



5. Verify that DTC B1325 is not set.



瀚慖f DTC B1325 is set, refer to DTC B1325 (See: B Code Charts/B1325).



6. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the PPS module.



7. Ignition OFF, test for less then 10 ohm between the ground circuit terminal D and ground.



瀚慖f greater then the specified range, test the ground circuit for an open/high resistance.



8. Ignition ON, verify a test lamp illuminates between the B+ circuit terminal A and ground.



瀚慖f the test lamp does not illuminate, test the B+ circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance.



9. Reconnect all PPS components and perform the Passenger Presence System Preload Test (See: Restraints and Safety Systems/Air Bag



Systems/Description and Operation/Passenger Presence System Preload Test).



10. Clear all DTCs and operate the vehicle. DTC. DTC B0081 should not set.



瀚慖f DTC B0081 sets, replace the PPS.
