The intent of this blog is to serve the W123 Mercedes-Benz enthusiast community. While there is an abundance of forums, blogs and DIY resources on the web, I noticed over the years that too many are based on opinion or a handful of ideas. Sadly, the unnecessary opinions and ideas often do more harm than good to our classics and will only promote the demise of these superb motorcars. Thankfully, the maintenance and restoration of our W123's does not need to rely on opinion or guessing, and can be performed in accordance to original factory specs. This blog will only cover the W123 chassis. Mechanically, it will only cover the 4 cyl. W123 lineup. Chassis wise, it will cover the W123 model overall. A separate blog will be launching soon, which will focus on the R107, 450SL Mercedes-Benz.
