When Acura unveiled the new TSX to the public it became the car maker's second model, after the RL, to be criticized for the controversial shield grille. Besides the obvious disappointment in Acura's decisions regarding the grille, the TSX's only visible changes on the V6 model are the rear deck-lid badge, and a larger lower air intake. The TSX has the same seats found in other Hondas and Acuras and the dashboard is well laid out.
An interesting note is that the TSX is available with a six-speed manual transmission only with the V4.The V6 TXS model only comes with an automatic. One interior annoyance is the automatic locking mechanism that only adds to theriders' frustrations when trying to exit the vehicle. Hopefully the TXS' next model will solve this tricky problem.
