The last release went by without a separate announcement of changes on the blog as we usually do, despite shipping a major addition of a new discipline. To remedy this oversight, here’s a quick rundown of what’s new:
- Kayak Stroke Detection: Thanks to data provided by the Australian Olympic Canoe and Kayak team we were able to improve our stroke-rate detection algorithms for these disciplines significantly. We’ve added Kayak as a new discipline in the App
- Android: Fix a few bugs around suspend/resume that could crash the App
- Android: Improve stability of connection to heart-rate sensors in the event of intermittent disconnects (e.g. when going in and out of range)
- Analytics: Improved performance on some screens
