Complaint:
iPod menus are not visible on the head unit, instrument cluster or intermittent connection interruptions
Cause:
Faulty internal wires of the UCI connector (Figure1) in the glove box. Note that even if the UCI adapter cable (which plugs into the iPod/Aux
device) is securely clipped to the UCI connector and an audible "click" is heard by the user, it still may not be possible for the iPod to transfer data;
these disconnected internal wires may not be visible (Figure 2).

Remedy:
Inspect the UCI harness between the UCI connector and the UCI itself.
Note:
Do not replace the UCI control unit, inspect the cable/harness and replace if necessary. See below for the correct part number & model.
