To highlight the fact that the 2019 T-Cross is a global model, Volkswagen has launched it almost simultaneously in Amsterdam, Sao Paulo, and Shanghai. The bumpers are changed as well and feature skid plates, with VW giving the T-Cross a more rugged look for China. As for the taillights, they have the same shape as the Euro model but their signature is different. Finally, the Chinese model gets chrome door handles, while Europe鈥檚 T-Cross has body color handles. As far as the interior goes, we don鈥檛 have photos of the Chinese-spec T-Cross yet. We do have official images of Latin America鈥檚 model, though, which looks like the European T-Cross on the outside but features some differences inside. More specifically, the steering wheel is taken straight from the Polo and the dashboard looks more similar to the supermini鈥檚 than the Euro T-Cross. Notice the lack of a storage space above the touchscreen and the trim that separates the central display from the instrument panel. Finally, the materials used inside look cheaper too.
