Japan Car Exporter, Japanese Used Cars, Used Japanese Cars

Additional information is limited but Toyota North America CEO Jim Lentz apparently showed an undisguised picture of the model during a presentation earlier this year. The image revealed the crossover had an IS-inspired front fascia with a prominent spindle grille and familiar LED daytime running lights that sit below the headlights. Design-wise the Lexus LF-NX Turbo concept has received a smoked chrome trim for the corporate spindle grille and its base now has a narrow, black mesh air intake sitting above a matt chrome-finished chin spoiler. In addition, the vertical front air intakes now have a high-gloss black trim with a black mesh duct finish. The back of the car shows a new lower bumper design with a full-width diffuser dressed in matt chrome. It also has dual chrome exhausts and new 20-inch alloys wrapped around in 255/45 ZR20 tires. Changes in the cabin are limited to the red illumination for the instruments, switchgear, door panels and roof. The NX crossover is expected to be previewed by a concept at the Tokyo Motor Show later this year. The production model will likely follow sometime next year as a 2015 model.

A large portion of my driving happened on interstates, and the ride quality is pleasant, and in the event that I review the old auto, lodge clamor levels are perceptibly enhanced too. The turbo 2.3-liter, based on the 2.0-liter found in the Ford Focus ST, makes pleasant force and torque (however its a long way from overpowering or adrenaline pumping) particularly when revs move over 2,700 rpm or something like that. Take a gander at what tuners are doing to the Focus motor to effortlessly receive essentially more power and torque in return; expect a lot of that to vestige to this bigger four barrel too. A lot of individuals will recognize: it is unusual to flame the ignition and hear these turbocharged four-barrel sounds originating from under a Mustang's hood. The soundtrack is reminiscent of Audi's constrained impelling little motors, and it takes some getting used to. Not that the experience is repulsive, other than a few buzziness at high rpm; rather, it simply appears 鈥?wrong in a horse auto. Honestly, that resembles lip service on my part. A large number of us have for quite a long time pined for a more European-esque Mustang, and to gripe about it on the flipside now that we have one is meriting a hard jab in the eye. I really started to giggle at myself when these musings experienced my psyche when I got in the aut.

The company gets its name from Nikola Tesla, the inventor of alternating current, who went toe-to-toe with Thomas Edison (and won) to prove whether AC or DC was the preferred method of transporting electricity over great distances. In the same light, Tesla Motors is trying to prove that electricity is not only capable of transporting automobiles great distances but also that electric cars can be fun to drive. The company is the brainchild of Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning and PayPal founder Elon Musk. The founders of Google, Sergey Brin and Larry Page, are also investors. This fresh blood from Silicon Valley is further evidence that Tesla is an entirely different type of car company. Tesla went about creating its first vehicle with the theory that nobody wanted electric cars because nobody had created an electric car worth buying. So they sought to correct the many perceived electric-car problems like range, recharging times, styling and performance. The company's first product, the Tesla Roadster, is capable of going about 250 miles between charges, which is a drastic improvement from the GM EV1's 60-90-mile range.

A complete recharge is accomplished in less than 2 hours. Recharging is accomplished via regenerative braking, a home recharging unit and an optional portable recharger. 100,000 sports car to enter the market as a way to establish "performance DNA" that would trickle down to less expensive models. Based on the Lotus Elise, the British-built Tesla Roadster is lightweight and svelte, capable of keeping up with other sports cars in its price bracket. Tesla promises 0-60-mph times around 4 seconds and a top speed of more than 130 mph. Throw in handling indicative of its Lotus roots and it should be obvious that the Roadster is one heck of a sports car. Tesla announced in February 2007 that it would be making a new sport sedan known as the WhiteStar, built at a new factory in New Mexico. 65,000 per car. Like the Roadster, it should have a range of about 250 miles, but with battery technology improving, that number could rise.

AMG 鈥?3鈥?badged model, but it does come with more than enough power to offer all the excitement one needs from an SUV. Found beneath the skin of the vehicle is a mild-hybrid 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-six cylinder engine that鈥檚 paired with an electric auxiliary compressor. With everything in tune, the SUV pumps out 429 hp and 520 Nm but the electric motor can be called upon to add 22 hp and 250 Nm of torque when it鈥檚 needed. 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds and tops out at an electronically limited speed of 250 km/h. The electric EQ Boost starter-alternator combines the starter motor and alternator into a powerful electric motor found between the engine and transmission. The electric motor doesn鈥檛 just add bursts of power but it helps to virtually eliminate all traces of turbo lag while also reducing fuel consumption and emissions. In addition, the EQ Boost starter-alternator powers the vehicle鈥檚 48-volt electrical system.
