C0287 5A



The longitudinal acceleration sensor signal is not plausible with the vehicle speed.



C0287 71



The EBCM received an invalid longitudinal acceleration sensor signal.



Action Taken When the DTC Sets



C0186 5A, C0186 71, C0196 00, C0196 5A, and C019B 5A



* The EBCM disables the stability control for the duration of the ignition cycle.



* The traction control/stability control-active indicator turns ON.



C0287 4B, C0287 5A, and C0287 71



The EBCM disables the hill start assist for the duration of the ignition cycle.



Conditions for Clearing the DTC



* A current DTC clears when the diagnostic runs and passes.



* The EBCM will turn OFF the indicator in the next ignition cycle.

DTC C0186 and C0287 may set after replacing the Multi-Axis Acceleration Sensor if the sensor is not configured and setup. Perform the
