The XC40 performs best in the snow when you choose the T5 all-wheel-drive power train; it provides the extra traction you need for confident driving in the snow around Dewitt. The T4 engine has front-wheel drive, which is fine for light snow but not advisable for the deep snow we sometimes see in Mason, MI.
