The Driver's Seat: 2020 Mercedes-Benz G65 AMG Review

An ultramodern engine line-up, a class-beating Cd value of 0.32, extensive BlueEFFICIENCY measures, as well as new development tools such as the "energy-transparent vehicle" all play their part in delivering the good energy efficiency figures. The Viano PEARL CDI 3.0 Blue EFFICIENCY Limited Edition is powered by a V6 diesel engine rated at 165 kW (224 hp) which combines superior performance with restrained fuel consumption. The low fuel consumption and exemplary emissions figures make impressive reading - on average, the entire model range burns 25 percent less fuel than the predecessor. Just under six months before compliance with the new standard becomes mandatory in September 2016, Mercedes-Benz is switching the entire Sprinter range in Europe to Euro 6/VI as standard. The same applies to the air conditioning and ventilation setting, as already proven in Mercedes-Benz saloons. Nevertheless, the first hints of the more comfortable and friendlier interior design to be found in saloons were noticeable.

The ML 250 BlueTEC 4MATIC is particularly outstanding in this respect: it is 28 percent more economical than its predecessor, consumes just 6.0 l per 100 km on the NEDC driving cycle (158 g CO2/km) and can cover as much as 1500 kilometres on a single tank of fuel. The second enhancement is the fact that the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) fuel consumption figures for the new model are the same as those of the Panamera Turbo at 27.7 mpg; which is an improvement of over 11 per cent versus the prior model. Never before has Mercedes-Benz succeeded in cutting fuel consumption by such a huge margin with an SUV model change. Estimated fuel economy is 18/25 miles per gallon (city/highway) for V-6 models, and 16/23 mpg for E550 sedans. A 3.0-liter turbodiesel V-6 rated at 190 hp and 324 lb-ft is likely to be more popular and can be paired with either rear- or all-wheel drive depending on the configuration. In practice, it needs a bit more tweaking: the system activated pretty much any time we mentioned 鈥淢ercedes鈥?while behind the wheel, and the natural-language commands (e.g. 鈥淗ey Mercedes, I鈥檓 hungry鈥?to find a restaurant, or 鈥淗ey Mercedes, call my boss鈥?when you鈥檙e running late) didn鈥檛 work in my test vehicles.

Good thing these work-vans' manufacturers are beginning to see the toll their vehicles are taking on the environment. Check to see if this vehicle qualifies for any Mercedes-Benz Special. With it, you can view all permits associated with an address, see review status, download the final approved plans (if plans were submitted electronically), pay permit fees, schedule inspections, check inspection results, and more. Vertical rectangular air intake vents either side of the large screen serve to emphasise the more functional aspects of the SUV. The G65 AMG, which is the full-out 6.0 liter biturbo V12 G-Class, was only available for a couple of years, thanks to such a large engine, terrible mpg, and the fact that basically no-one bought them. Over the following years, MBUSA grew into a nationwide organization, now employing over 1,600 people. We thank Nick for his contribution to our team over the last nine months and wish him well with his new challenge.

Ground aluminium or exquisite woods as well as the finely detailed switches and trim highlights blend with electrifying surfaces and powerful, harmonious lines to create a high-class interior ambience and a tremendous sense of wellbeing for both the driver and passengers. Turned aluminium or high-quality wood, finely detailed switches and highlights as well as exciting surfaces and powerful, harmonious lines help to create a high-quality sense of wellbeing in the interior for both the driver and passengers. The driver takes to the wheel behind a 4-spoke multifunction steering wheel with twelve trapezoidal control buttons for trip computer, radio, telephone, etc. - which is also of a high saloon standard. The third generation of the highly coveted Mercedes-Benz M-Class SUV combines the best of both worlds, boasting a strong off-road heritage at the same time as making its passengers feel as if they are travelling in a luxury premium saloon. The third generation of the Mercedes-Benz M-Class combines the best of two worlds: the much-coveted SUV not only boasts a strong off-road vehicle heritage, but its passengers also benefit from levels of comfort comparable to those of a premium saloon.

The third generation of the Mercedes-Benz M-Class sets new benchmarks in the SUV world with its leading-edge automotive technology. The dashboard in the first generation M-Class dating from 1998 was also primarily functional in nature, and made only tentative concessions to a design based around comfort. In line with the Mercedes-Benz brand philosophy, the new Mercedes-Benz M-Class represents the embodiment of the Mercedes-Benz holistic safety concept of Real Life Safety, which is derived from what happens in a real accident situation. Taking their inspiration from nature, they designed a vehicle which is fully integrated into the ecosystem, from the moment of its creation right through to the end of its service life. At the time, this was totally appropriate for an off-road vehicle. The centre console incorporates an integrated arm and handrest, in front of which is located the Controller and various switches, such as those for the off-road programmes and AIRMATIC air suspension. While an expressive dome shape embodies the power of an SUV, the gently sloping dashboard in the front passenger area affords an outstanding sense of space, thereby highlighting the vehicle's suitability for long journeys.
