The Suspension Consists Of Higher-rate Springs

This 2003 Ford Mustang Mach 1 shows just 31 miles and is one of 2,250 manufactured for the model year in Azure Blue. It was acquired by the seller in 2017 and is powered by a 4.6-liter DOHC V8 paired with a five-speed manual transmission and a 3.55 limited-slip differential. This example features a functional hood scoop, retro-style seats and instrumentation, factory Magnum 500-styled wheels, and more. This fourth-generation Mach 1 is now offered in New Jersey with owner鈥檚 literature, the affixed window sticker, a Deluxe Marti Report, a clean Carfax report, and a clean New Jersey title in the seller鈥檚 name. The exterior is finished in Azure Blue, which was unique to the 2003-2004 Mach I. A corresponding paint code sticker is shown in the gallery. Details include a raised hood with a functional ram-air shaker hood scoop, black front and rear spoilers, and a Mach 1 badge on the trunk lid.

The Mach 1 features 8脳17鈥?Magnum 500-styled wheels, and the seller states that this car retains its original tires. The suspension consists of higher-rate springs, 26.5mm front and 23mm rear anti-roll bars, and Tokico struts and shocks. Multi-piston calipers grab 13鈥?front Brembo rotors, which were shared with the contemporary Cobra model. The Dark Charcoal leather interior features manually-adjustable bucket seats with comfort weave stitching, a polished-aluminum shifter handle, and metal-trimmed pedals. Amenities include air-conditioning and a Mach 460 sound system with a six-disc CD changer. Provided photos show preservation plastic covers over the HVAC controls, floor mats, and steering wheel. Instrumentation includes a 150-mph speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer, both of which feature retro-style radial annotation. The digital odometer registers just 31 miles. The 4.6-liter DOHC V8 was rated at 305 horsepower when new and features a twin-bore 57mm throttle body, model-specific exhaust manifolds, and more. Contemporary testing with the five-speed manual yielded a zero-to-60 mph time of 5.3 seconds, with the quarter-mile elapsing in 13.8 seconds at 102.5 mph. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a 3.55:1 limited-slip differential. Additional underside images are provided in the gallery. The Deluxe Marti Report itemizes special build details, including that this is one of 9,652 examples from the model year with the Mach 1 package. 2,016 of that year鈥檚 production run. 29,430. Additional owner鈥檚 literature, a production certificate, the wheel lock key tool, and more included materials are shown in the gallery.
