Mach I BEV Reveal Date

Mach I BEV Reveal Date

鈥檙e being a fanboy when you tell people how great living with an EV is. They just can鈥檛 imagine it is that much better. Well, I am sure BEV owners understand. It's easy to be sceptical and very difficult to change such old ways. That said, I will surely weigh all factors when I consider a purchase when available. First and foremost will be price. I honestly don't care if these things sprint to 60 in half a second. Nobody should be driving like that anyway. And 200 miles or 300 mile range is way down on my priority list. I would not be traveling distance anyway. That said, my wife will be needing a new lease in about a year when this launches. It makes a perfect second car for her. I will certainly consider it. BTW, Ford said their plan is to be profitable with this car. Good news, but that suggests price will not be modest. AWD LR Perf, which is entirely reasonable. 70k with a Perf Pack.

But I think how well Ford does with their F150 will really be interesting. I have no idea where pricing will fall for that. But the way brass talks about it, they want it to simply fit into all their other truck strategies, depending on what you need. It will be billed as just another option. Which makes sense. Not much margin in an all new exclusive platform, just to get a bit more range. Trucks will have massive batteries and plenty of electric power to get work done. I expect a Y sized interior, or just marginally smaller.

X is 88cu ft with the seats down, Y is 66. So, an X has more room than an Explorer. I figure right around Y or a ft or two less. I doubt it. The X is pretty big because it is bulbous. Mach is Edge sized. I stood next to it. Bigger than Y I am pretty sure. To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 0 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. The Model X at 198.3 inches long and 78.7 inches wide is about the size of an Explorer but lower. I'm guessing the "Mach E" will be more of a Model Y competitor. If my visual proportions are correct, the Mach E I stood next too was Edge sized (L x W) but a bit lower. To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 0 or greater. VW MEB based cars are slated for Europe, from what I gather. Don鈥檛 know about RoW. I guess if it is a hit, they鈥檒l probably offer it elsewhere.
