2010 Cadillac Truck Escalade RWD V8-6.0L Hybrid Page 84
Circuit/System Description
The second row power fold and tumble seats and the electronic adjustable pedals (when RPO AN3 Driver Memory Seat is not used) may only
operate while the vehicle is in Park. When the body control module detects the vehicle is NOT in park it will enable the Park Enable PCB Relay by
providing power to the relay control circuit. When the relay is enabled the electrical power feed to the adjustable pedals and second row power fold
and tumble seats is eliminated. Once the vehicle is shifted into Park the BCM will disable the Park Enable PCB Relay and the electrical power feed
to the adjustable pedals and second row power fold and tumble seats is enabled.
Conditions for Running the DTC
* The system voltage is at least 9.0 V and no more than 16.0 V.
* The DTC will only set when the output is actively being requested by the module.
Conditions for Setting the DTC
The DTC will set when the module requests the output and there is a short to ground.
Action Taken When the DTC Sets
The module output driver will be shut down and not supply voltage to the circuit.
Conditions for Clearing the DTC
* The current DTC will go to history when a malfunction is no longer present.
* The BCM clears the history DTC when a current DTC is not detected in 50 ignition cycles.
