Diagnostic Fault Information

Circuit/System Description

The electronic brake control module (EBCM) supplies a shared 5 volt reference to the brake master cylinder piston position sensor, steering angle

sensor and brake master cylinder piston position sensor.

Conditions for Running the DTC

* Ignition ON.

* The ignition voltage is greater than 10 volts.

Conditions for Setting the DTC

The EBCM detects the voltage on the 5 V reference circuit to the brake master cylinder piston position sensor, steering angle sensor and brake

master cylinder piston position sensor is less than 4.8 V or greater than 5.2 V.

Action Taken When the DTC Sets
