The 1969 Ford Mustang brochure unveils the latest and greatest Mustangs of the day with 5 all new Mustangs. The Mustang Mach 1 hits the scene with more options and configurations than ever like dual exhaust, a rear deck spoiler, Sports Roof, vent-less side glass, quad-headlamps and 5 powerful and sporty V-8 power plant combinations. Now if that鈥檚 not enough for you there鈥檚 also a new luxury Mustang Grande hardtop that include wire wheel covers, dual racing mirrors and pinstripes. You can now choose a sporty Mustang or a luxury Mustang and they both looked great. With 16 color choices and multiple interior fabrics and styles you could personalize your Mustang. Production numbers were down a bit for the previous year, but still impressive. Overall production was 299,824 units with the standard coupe leading the pack with 118,613 units. The second place winner was the Mustang Fastback Mach 1 with 72,458 units. Which is no surprise because you could get a very sharp Mustang for a very reasonable price. However the standard Mustang Fastback came in as a close third with 56,022 units. The second smallest production was the new Mustang Boss 429 with only 869 units built. Once you take a look at the 1969 Ford Mustang brochure and examine the Mustang specifications you will be sold. The five new 1969 Ford Mustangs were fairly priced for their product. 3,122 for the Mustang fastback Mach 1. Wish I could buy a Mustang for those kinds of prices today, but that was nearly 40 years ago. This car is equipped with the 428 CJ R-Code engine, 4-Speed manual transmission, and Factory AC. According to the Marti report, this is one of only six 428 4-Speed cars that were fitted with AC, and it is believed to be the only survivor. Additional options include Sport Slats, Sport Rear Deck Seat, Power Steering, Power Front Disc Brakes, Tilt Wheel, AM/FM Stereo, and Tinted Glass. The car has never been damaged or modified, and all of the body panels, chrome and wheels are original. The car was subject to a rotisserie restoration with all the correct bits and pieces. All numbers match. This Mach I had been kept in a climate-controlled environment for most of its life before restoration commenced and was rust-free.
