The lights work , the issue is the panel and the wire is now melted at the tip. The wire melted into the light panel. Warning on dash shows rr brake light is out and turn signal lights is out. Went to look at the back of the car to see if the lights where on and the rr light assembly was dim. Open the panel where the bulbs are and the wire harness was fried. This might be a fire hazard. The contact owns a 2009 Mercedes Benz C300. The vehicle was parked when the contact noticed there was water inside of the side view mirrors turn signals. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer for diagnostic testing or to be repaired. The manufacturer was notified and the contact was informed that she had to pay the repair cost.
