* The vent fan blades are not broken or damaged.

* The internal foam seals are not missing or damaged.

瀚慖f any conditions are found, remove, repair or replace as necessary.

3. Ignition OFF, disconnect the X3 harness connector at the drive motor generator battery control module.

Note: The following test must be performed when the battery pack has equalized at room temperature. An increase or decrease in

temperature will cause resistance to change and may result in invalid test results.

4. Test for 1k ohm-209k ohm between the terminals listed below. The resistance of each temperature sensor should be within the specified

range, and within 500 ohm of each other. Refer to Temperature Versus Resistance ().

* Sensor 1-5 V reference circuit terminal 1 and low reference circuit terminal 2

* Sensor 2-5 V Reference circuit terminal 3 and low reference circuit terminal 4

* Sensor 3-5 V Reference circuit terminal 5 and low reference circuit terminal 6

* Sensor 4-5 V Reference circuit terminal 7 and low reference circuit terminal 8

瀚慖f not within the specified range, replace the drive motor battery sensor module wiring harness.

5. If all circuits test normal, replace the drive motor generator battery control module.

Repair Instructions

Perform the Diagnostic Repair Verification (See: Verification Tests) after completing the repair.

DTC Descriptor

DTC P0A8D

- 14 Volt Power Module System Voltage Low

Diagnostic Fault Information

Circuit/System Description

The Accessory Power Module (APM) continuously monitors its 14-volt circuit during charge or Jump Assist. This DTC sets when the 14-volt

circuit in the APM drops below a set level. APM functions will run only when an APM enable message from the Hybrid powertrain control module

(HPCM) is active on the high speed hybrid GMLAN communication circuit.

Conditions for Running the DTC

APM is charging or in Jump Assist.

Conditions for Setting the DTC

14-volt circuit is below 10.0 volts during charge or Jump Assist.
