Touch n Go eWallet PayDirect offers one-year free toll

To promote the use of the TnG eWallet, Touch n Go is having a contest offering one whole year’s worth of free toll. The campaign period is from now till July 31, 2019.

Basically, one has to collect entries for a random draw. Add a Touch n Go card to your TNG eWallet for the first time and you’ll get 10 entries. From there, each time you pay toll via the PayDirect or RFID feature from the TNG eWallet, you’ll get one entry.

Winners will be selected from a random draw of the total entries received. It goes without saying that the more entries you have, the higher the chances of winning.

The lucky ones stand to win weekly prizes of one month of free toll, which TnG deems as RM200 cash, credited into your eWallet. The grand prize is one year worth of free toll, which for this contest, is RM2,500 credited into the winner’s eWallet. There will be a total of 400 weekly prize winners (100 each week) and 10 grand prize winners. Winners will be excluded from subsequent draws, which means there won’t be repeat winners.

So, if you’re already passing by tolls and paying daily, this is the best time to link your physical Touch n Go card to your TnG eWallet. Once linked, the toll fare will automatically be deducted from the eWallet whenever it’s used, without any deductions on the physical card itself.

In the event that the eWallet has insufficient funds, only then will the fare be deducted from the card’s balance. Reloading the TnG eWallet is done through the app via credit/debit card or online banking with no additional fees.

PayDirect is available at all highways in the Klang Valley except for the NKVE and PLUS-operated highways. It can be used at the Ampang–Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway (AKLEH), Guthrie Corridor Expressway (GCE), Lebuhraya Kemuning – Shah Alam (LKSA), Kuala Lumpur–Karak Highway, Sungai Besi Expressway (Besraya), Duta Ulu-Kelang Expressway (DUKE), Cheras-Kajang Expressway (Grand Saga), North Klang Straits Bypass (Grand Sepadu), LATAR Expressway, Damansara-Puchong Expressway (LDP), Shah Alam Expressway (KESAS), Kajang SILK Highway, Maju Expressway (MEX), New Pantai Expressway (NPE), SMART Tunnel and Sprint Highway.

New additions include the Lingkaran Luar Butterworth (LLB) and Sultan Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah Bridge (Penang second bridge) in Penang.
