The all-new Hyundai Palisade is the third new three-row SUV to hit the market for 2020. Following the redesigned Ford Explorer and all-new Kia Telluride, it would be easy for the Palisade to get lost in this segment. But with its modern styling and technology, the Palisade manages to stand out — and speaking of standing out, our First Drive of the 2020 Palisade climbs to No. 2 on our list of the top five Cars.com videos this week.

Cars.com reviewer Brian Wong said the Palisade drives similar to its close relative and powertrain twin, the Telluride.
“Under the hood is the same 3.8-liter V-6, making 291-horsepower, and it comes mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission,” Wong said. “The Palisade rides and drives very confidently. There’s enough power from the engine that it doesn’t feel super-taxed in getting the Palisade up to speed, which is impressive for such a large vehicle as this.”
But the Palisade isn’t just a more modern-looking version of the Telluride. Wong said there are plenty of features — like optional power third-row seats and an all-digital display cluster up front — that set the Palisade apart.

In reviews this week, it’s even more about SUVs. The Palisade’s cousin, the 2020 Kia Telluride, takes the top spot for the fourth week in a row, followed by our review of the 2019 Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid. The 2019 Mazda CX-5, took the third place of this week’s No. 4, the 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan. New to the list this time around is our review of the 2019 Lincoln Nautilus at No. 5.
