Kia Seltos Interiors and Variants Revealed Ahead Of Launch



  • The GT Line variant follows a sporty approach with red inserts and special 'GT' badging.

The recently unveiled, except for its pricing. Kia will offer the SUV in two main trim options: HT Line and GT Line.



First things first, the GT Line is the spicier looking version. On the outside, the most noticeable differentiating factor between them are the wheels. The GT Line gets dual-tone machine-finished alloys while the HT Line gets single-tone dark gunmetal wheels. Next up is the front bumper, which has an aluminum-red combination for the GT Line and a more subtle silver insert for the HT Line.



The HT Line also has a chrome strip on its lower doors instead of the contrasting red one on the GT Line. Coming to the rear, the GT Line gets a red strip on its bumper just above the diffuser and a GT Line badge on the boot lid. The same GT Line badge can also be seen on the iconic 'tiger nose' grille.



The in India, contrary to what was speculated, will come with dual-tone black-beige interiors. The HT Line gets a more classy approach with black upper dash and light beige approach with white stitching near the gear lever and the front armrest.




The GT Line, meanwhile, gets a sportier approach with contrasting red stitching on the steering, gear lever, seats and armrest. It also gets different seat upholstery with GT Line badges.



Keen eyes will also notice the aluminum pedals on the GT Line which further adds to its sporty character. The interiors look premium with the 10.25-inch touchscreen and 7-inch instrument cluster, flat-bottom steering and the gloss black elements all around.



As we mentioned before, the Seltos also packs some impressive features. This includes a premium Bose sound system, ventilated and powered seats, air purifier, 360-degree parking camera system, 'smart' 8.0-inch head-up display, UVO Connect features and more. Safety features on offer include six airbags, tyre pressure monitor, ABS, and vehicle stability management.



The 1.5-litre diesel engine making 115PS/250Nm will be paired with a 6-speed MT and a 6-speed AT. The 1.5-litre petrol producing 115PS/114Nm, meanwhile, comes mated with the same 6-speed MT and a CVT. The range-topping 1.4-litre Turbo GDI unit churning out 140PS/242Nm will be available with the 6-speed MT and a 7-speed DCT.


The Kia Seltos is expected to come with price tags ranging between Rs 10 lakh and 16 lakh (ex-showroom). It will rival the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Renault Captur, Nissan Kicks as well as the
