If You Have Particular Expertise With Your Chosen Scenario
These suggestions are intended to help give you ideas for how to get started with your project proposal. These suggestions do not themselves meet the proposal requirements given in the project specifications that will appear on the web! You are expected to modify and customize from here to result in a project proposal that does meet those requirements. The first suggestion is to select/devise a scenario of interest to you. If you have particular expertise with your chosen scenario, so much the better. You will be spending quite a bit of time this semester on this project, and such interest/expertise can make it easier to do so. Here are some "classical" categories for database project scenarios --- you are not limited to these, by any means, but reading over them might help you to come up with an idea for your project proposal. Some outstanding past projects that I can think of do not fit in any of these categories --- but other outstanding ones have been firmly in a category below.
Unlike in many competing models, the window airbags cover the A-pillar for more complete passenger protection. The optional LED Intelligent Light System is another example of the technology transfer from the luxury to the compact class. It allows for the extremely quick, precise and electronically controlled adjustment of the headlamps to suit the given traffic situation. Each headlamp features multiple individually actuated LEDs. The daylight-color of the LEDs is easy on the eyes and positively effects concentration. The road ahead is precisely and brightly illuminated. As standard, the new A-Class is equipped with LED Headlamps with integrated LED Daytime Running Lamps. There is a choice of suspension systems for the A-Class depending on driver preference. The line-up of wheels ranges from 17 to 19 inches. The front axle of the new A鈥慍lass features a McPherson design. For models with 4MATIC, adaptive damping or larger wheels are fitted with a complex four-link rear axle. All other models have a weight-optimized torsion-beam rear axle. Production of the new A-Class Sedan will begin this year in Aguascalientes. The COMPAS (Cooperation Manufacturing Plant Aguascalientes) joint-venture production plant in Central Mexico will expand the Mercedes-Benz Cars compact-car production network to five locations on three continents. COMPAS is a cooperative project with the Renault-Nissan Alliance. Daimler and Nissan each hold 50% of the shares in COMPAS. Production of the new A-Class Sedan at the Mercedes-Benz Rastatt Plant in Germany will start in 2019. Rastatt is the leading plant for compact cars in the global production network. The plant is responsible for the global production control as well as quality and supplier management. In addition, it supports smooth start-ups at the other plants by training their employees and offering other services. In April, the new generation of A-Class compacts already began coming off the line in Rastatt.
Carlsson, the Merzig-based automobile manufacturer specialised in refining Mercedes Benz models, impresses with a new high-quality RS-design kit for the S-class in either real carbon, a material which is mainly used in the Formula 1 or in polyurethane (PU). The exclusive overall package gives the S-class long version (internal production name V221) an even more sportive and unforgettable appearance. Using the RS-design and therefore the most precious materials, guarantees an unsurpassable exclusivity and uniqueness of the Carlsson S-class. The extended carbon kit for the S-class consists of selected components. The integrated front apron and the front spoiler lips enhance the sportive overall appearance. Moreover, the front view stands out for its stylish round Carlsson emblem for the front hood and characteristic grille insert. A set of especially curved side skirts with stainless steel grille inserts give the sides of the Mercedes an even more dynamic and stronger look. For road safety during day and night, there are four additional high-quality lights (fog lights and full beam). The rear section of the S-class is emphasised by its rear apron RS and a rear apron diffuser RS, crowned with a sportive rear spoiler made of real carbon. A four-pipe sport end muffler renders a sportive sound experience; it was especially developed by Carlsson with double-walled, heat-insulated end pipes and has a streamlined design made of stainless steel.
The 2009 Kicherer Mercedes-Benz SL 63 RS is a high performance two door car with a retractable hardtop. The Kicherer SL 63 RS is a two seater car and the body of the car is made of carbon fiber. The car features LED lights, front grille, headlight blenders, newly designed rear diffuser and a powerful engine. The Kicherer SL 63 RS features a hardtop which is operated by the touch of a button and this hardtop can be opened or closed within a few seconds. The Kicherer SL 63 RS features a 6.2 L V8 engine with exhaust systems. The engine delivers an output power of 552 hp and 494 lb-ft torque. The car features ABC electronically adapted suspension that delivers a comfort and smooth drive. The Kicherer SL 63 RS features 20-inch wheels with specially designed high performance tires that ensure a better grip at higher speeds. The front tires measure 255/30 and the rear tires measure 305/25. The car features high performance braking system and electronic brakes on all the wheels that can stop the car carefully even at high speed of 250 kmph. The exteriors feature the retractable hardtop, LED lights and mirrors. The interiors are mostly finished in leather and it features the leather seats, sporty steering wheel and instrument panels.
