The Lime Rock Park Historic Festival has announced a new class for 2019. The “Touring Group” will allow those with slightly newer cars (up to the late 1970s) to partake in several pace car-led runs around the track. Participants of the new class will also be able to park their car in an exclusive corral.

Now in its 37th year, the festival will once again offer a vintage race car and sports car parade through the nearby town of Falls Village which will end at a street fair. Other activities include a Saturday night dinner and discussion panel charity event, a swap meet for various parts and collectibles, a concours d’elegance, and of course, lots of vintage racing. There will be food trucks and vendors situated around the track for attendees to enjoy as well.

The weekend will also include a special tribute to Morgan to celebrate the 110th birthday of the British sports marque.

The festival will take place on Labor Day Weekend, August 29-September 2, at Lime Rock Park in Lakeville, Connecticut. For more information about the Lime Rock Historic Festival or the new “Touring Group”, visit LimeRock.com.

Owners and fans of antique motor coaches & motor home conversions are invited to take part in the Blytheville Antique Bus Homecoming this September. All makes and models are welcome to the rally that focuses primarily on pre-1980 vehicles.

The event will be held at a restored bus terminal that now serves as its town’s tourist information center and museum. The former Greyhound Lines terminal has been restored to its original 1939 appearance and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Tom McNally, whose shop (Tom’s Garage) is hosting the event, says that the bus rally brought 78 vehicles to Blytheville in 2013.

The 2019 Blytheville Antique Bus Homecoming will take place on September 27-29 at 109 North 5th Sreet, Blytheville, Arkansas, at the Greyhound bus depot. For more information, visit the event’s Facebook page.
