Comment on How Lee Iacocca leveraged the K car’s success to save Chrysler by Bill

I have a friend that I flew with living in Salem Mo and he has a barn built from the roofs of K car coupes. The roofs were cut off the finished coupes at St Louis Assembly and sold for scrap. The cars were then fitted out as convertibles. Last time I saw it the barn still was in good condition.
