Suspension Will Not Lower - Repair Procedure
AFFECTED VEHICLE RANGE
CONDITION SUMMARY:
Situation:
A situation has been identified where corrosion or contamination may be blocking the air suspension compressor exhaust muffler causing the vehicle
to not lower and possibly store Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) C1A13-64. A new dryer desiccant gives improved durability by keeping the system
dry to prevent further corrosion. A new muffler with an additional hole will allow any residual corrosion debris to escape.
Action:
Should a customer complain of the symptoms above, install a new air suspension compressor dryer kit and compressor exhaust muffler. Follow the
repair procedure outlined below.

MUFFLER REMOVAL
NOTE:
Global Technical Reference (GTR) lookup sequence is as follows: GTR Home > NAS > Service Information > Range Rover > Workshop Manual >
Section 204-05: Vehicle Dynamic Suspension
NOTE:
Do not carry out step 11 in section 60.50.10 (removal of the rubber mountings and the electrical harness clip), as this is for access only.
1. Remove the air suspension compressor.
2. If the muffler is the push-in type (VIN 6A198057 - 6A212982), perform the following:
^ Depress retaining clip and withdraw adaptor.
^ Unscrew the exhaust muffler from the adaptor. (Figure 1)
