Mercedes describes the interior of its B-Class as 'even more comfortable than you'd think'. The 3-spoke luxury multifunction steering wheel enables access to a range of telematics and vehicle functions/settings, with 12 function buttons and a high resolution 11.4 centimetre colour display. The Light and Sight package, also standard, improves safety and the driver's perception of traffic conditions, especially in the dark and in poor weather, and enhances the high-class appeal of the B-Class. Mercedes-Benz redesigned its entry-level C-Class sedan for 2008, offering new styling reminiscent of the automaker鈥檚 S-Class flagship. Engine choices remain the same for 2011: The C300 has a 228-horsepower V-6, while the C350 offers a larger 268-hp V-6, and the high-performance C63 AMG packs a 451-hp V-8. Prime competitors include the BMW 3 Series, Audi A4 and Infiniti G37. Mercedes offers a new optional telematics system called 鈥渕brace鈥?that replaces Tele Aid and allows drivers to connect with their vehicle through an iPhone or BlackBerry. It performs services such as remotely locking and unlocking the doors and locating a vehicle in a crowded parking lot through a map on a smart phone. Two front bucket seats and a three-seat rear bench provide seating for five. An angular dashboard design mimics the car鈥檚 exterior styling theme, and Luxury and Sport models have unique instrument panels. The C300 is powered by a 3.0-liter V-6, while the C350 has a 3.5-liter V-6. The C63 AMG performance sedan packs a 6.2-liter V-8.
