She And Her Husband

Customers, along with the general public, were invited to enter to win at either location in Bethesda or Germantown during normal business hours and at our E-Class events. Ethel Robinson, a neighbor of EuroMotorcars Bethesda, won the two year lease of the 2010 Mercedes-Benz E350 Sedan at EuroMotorcars. She and her husband, Charles Robinson, took delivery of their brand new Capri blue Mercedes-Benz E350 at EuroMotorcars Bethesda on July 9, 2009. They were both very excited to have won this beautiful new vehicle. We are thrilled to have been able to give away the most elegant Mercedes-Benz to these wonderful people. The Robinsons are no strangers to our Bethesda store as they are current customers of new Mercedes Benz salesman, Steve Lutsky. Sales manager Sean Welborn and sales representative Mike Luna assisted the Robinsons as they took delivery. Mike Luna gave them a quick overview of one of the best Mercedes-Benz ever built before driving off in their brand, new Mercedes-Benz.

Of late and in the next few years to come, there have and there will be a slew of diesel variants of cars from almost all auto majors entering India. Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Hyundai and Maruti Suzuki all plan to bring in diesel versions of their new cars into the Indian market. The Indian car buyer has changed his way of thinking. The present-generation buyer does not really break his head thinking of the high maintenance cost and pricing while opting for the diesel car. Technology has improved, the fuel efficiency has also shown a significant change and the changes apply to diesel cars as well. One does not have to think too hard. It has become unnecessary now and belongs to the yesteryears. Diesel cars have their own marketplace within the Indian market. Mercedes-Benz's new E-Class in diesel, BMW's diesel models, the Hyundai Sonata Transform diesel, all indicate the growing diesel car trend.

Then, we also have the diesel variant of the Maruti Suzuki SX4 which will soon grace the Indian roads. A look at the actual sales figures reveal that luxury car makers like BMW, Mercedes and Audi sell more diesel variants compared to their petrol counterparts. The Toyota Fortuner with the diesel heart entered India only to push out the Honda CR-V petrol variant that was ruling the SUV segment till then. Toyota is one car maker that sells around 99 per cent of its cars as diesel variants. The advanced diesel technology can deliver the power and torque figures that everyone likes like no other. 65 per cent of the models, Swift and DZire that India's largest selling auto maker Maruti Suzuki sells are diesel variants. Tata, M&M, GM, Hyundai and Ford are also increasing production of their diesel models. Tata Motors' Indica and Indigo, M&M's Logan, GM's Optra and Chevy Cruze and Hyundai's Verna have been experiencing a rise in sales of diesel variants in the recent months. Diesel prices in India are 30 per cent lower than gasoline. The demand for efficient diesel variants, has therefore, grown even stronger. Fortunately, Indian car makers too have a distinct advantage here. They have been coming up with more and more new models with diesel engines and have succeeded in meeting the demand. It is now time for the global OEMs to work harder in the ever growing Indian market. It is not too difficult to build world-class diesel cars within Indian cost structures if they want to be successful. If 5 years ago India exported 130,000 passenger cars, today, the number has increased drastically. Thanks to the advanced diesel technologies and the rising demand.

The two automakers will collaborate their years of expertise and technological prowess to introduce a new automated driving technology by the mid-2020. The move was set to take place after the last week’s conference on a 50:50 joint venture company BMW and Daimler, where they have exhibited all their mobility services under one roof - despite their rivalry in the automotive sector. The duo is set to develop a lucrative platform to emerge in the field of self-driving car technology. Ford and Volkswagen have teamed up in the race, developing together autonomous and electric cars for commercial purpose. BMW is sharing technologies and efforts with Fiat Chrysler and Intel; Softbank and Toyota are in cahoots, Renault-Nissan alliance is collaborating with Google, all of them are working in the same direction to develop car-driving services based upon self-driving technology. It is not surprising that several other automobile makers, including startups, entrepreneurs, and technology partners are exploring the myriad avenues of autonomous driving realm, too. Daimler and BMW has a history of business rivalry, however, it never stopped them from working together for the future of automobile industry.

211,000-plus S65 AMG, the S-Class does encompass the one-percents seemingly in every way it can. Although a redesign is still imminent--due next model year--the S Class carries into 2013 with seven different models, all with a different powertrain. And while the details are different between models, they share the familiar S Class shape that's been offered since the 2007 model year. It's one of the softest, most organic designs among large luxury sedans, although it's not nearly as sedate as that of the Lexus LS. And the living-room look inside does well in maintaining a relaxed feel--enhanced by the wide swath of beautiful wood trim. With rear- or all-wheel drive, S 550 models have a 429-horsepower, 4.6-liter V-8 and a seven-speed automatic transmission, with real-world gas mileage nearly as good as the Hybrid's, in our experience. Ride and handling in these models rival anything in this class, except for the nimble-feeling XJ. Interior packaging is pretty much the same regardless of which model you choose: supremely accommodating, with superb front seats, a spacious, well-designed cabin, and easy access for those in back.
