In future Mercedes-Benz is equipping its luxury class models as the first premium brand with a display screen that allows the driver and front passenger to view two different programmes at the same time. While the driver is checking the navigation instructions, the front passenger can sit back and watch a film on the very same display. This is made possible by new SPLITVIEW technology which the Stuttgart premium brand is introducing in the S-Class for the first time. Mercedes-Benz has integrated the new SPLITVIEW technology developed by Mercedes-Benz and Bosch into the innovative control and display system COMAND, which is centrally located in the dashboard console. Its generously dimensioned, 8-inch (approx. This shows two different images simultaneously by placing pixels adjacent to each other. A filter masking the display divides this mixed image in such a way that depending on the seating position, only the pixels making up one or the other image can be seen. As a result, the driver and front passenger can view different programmes on the same screen at the same time. The driver still has access to all the information from the control and display system COMAND on the display, while the front passenger uses the remote control to choose his own entertainment programme with DVDs, TV channels or music videos. To avoid distracting the driver with his entertainment programme, he also has the option of enjoying the programme via headphones. As before, the driver is able to view all the information provided by the COMAND system on the display. Mercedes-Benz is introducing the new SPLITVIEW technology in the S-Class for the first time in summer 2009. All rights reserved.

This involves the customer selecting a desired time for the beginning of his journey. The system then ensures that the battery is fully charged and, if desired, that the vehicle is air‑conditioned at this point in time. The facilities offered by the Vehicle Homepage are rounded off by further convenience functions, such as a route planner designed specifically for electric vehicles. In terms of safety and comfort, the B-Class E-CELL Plus Concept meets Mercedes-Benz's high standards in every respect. The vehicle combines compact exterior dimensions with a spacious and variable interior and luggage compartment. Five full-size seats make it an all-round electric car for the family, leisure and general motoring. The new electromechanical steering and enhanced driving dynamics provide for refined sportiness in the field of electric mobility. A striking feature of the Mercedes-Benz B-Class E-CELL Plus Concept is the copper-coloured linear graphic design which accentuates the vehicle and lends it a dynamic appearance. High-quality black nappa leather and copper-coloured double lap seams have been used in the interior. The concept vehicle is a match for its siblings when it comes to active and passive safety features, too. Like all models of the new compact car generation, the Mercedes-Benz B-Class E-CELL Plus Concept also comes with COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST, a new assistance system which will help to avoid rear-end collisions in future. In keeping with the ongoing democratisation of safety, the B-Class E‑CELL PLUS will also feature a number of additional assistance systems adopted from the larger model series.

There are dozens of styling tutorials for men who have let themselves go. There is an equal number of them for men who are fit as well. But if you are slender, bordering on skinny chances are there are not many style suggestions that are available for you. The thing about skinny men is that they have a body frame that is 'desirable' looking. But given how some of the critical body mass is missing, they need a specific and a thoughtful approach to dressing up well. Dressing up for skinny guys involves a fine mix of wearing clothes that fit well and layering up effectively. Let us now take a closer look at some of the things that you need to remember if you have that lean frame. No to Stripes: Stripes are usually recommended for someone who intends to look a lot lighter than they actually are. Striped patterns on apparel, especially on shirts tend to play a trick on the eyes.

They make the tall look taller and seem to almost magically eliminate those extra pounds from the men who are carrying that extra bit of weight. So it is obvious that if you are already skinny and decide to sport them anyway, it is going to make you look leaner than you already are. So it is best for you to choose other patterns over stripes. Layer Well: It should come as no surprise that layering is a helpful tactic to add depth to your style. Layers add the mass that you need in your style. But the key to layering up well lies in choosing colours and textures well. Choose a maximum of three layers and ensure that you are comfortable in it first. Great Symmetry: Think about your outfits like building blocks or individual components. They need to fit the proportions of your body. If you wear loose clothing, they are bound to look awkward. Believe it or not, well-fitting clothes can actually make you look good (no we don't necessarily mean skinny fits).
