Brabus has turned the Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG luxury sedan into a 887-horsepower rocket capable of a 217 mph top speed. It's ready for a debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The performance of the Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG 900 Rocket by Brabus on the road is on the level of a full-blooded top-class sports car. From rest the luxury sedan sprints to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds. The sprint to 124 mph takes a measly 9.1 seconds. Top speed is in excess of 217 mph (350 km/h). It goes without saying that favorable aerodynamics are crucial at the extremely high speeds attained by the Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG 900 Rocket by Brabus. To minimize aerodynamic lift on the front and rear axle and bring them into perfect balance, the Brabus designers developed a sporty-elegantly styled bodywork conversion kit. Like in Formula 1 racing, the components are manufactured from carbon fiber and give the luxury sedan a dynamic visual upgrade while optimizing aerodynamic efficiency.
The front bumper of the S65 is upgraded not only visually with the Brabus front spoiler lip and the front bumper attachments with a markedly sporty clear-coated carbon-fiber finish. The shape optimized in the wind tunnel also reduces lift on the front axle. This measure contributes to further improved handling stability at high speeds. The Brabus aerodynamic-enhancement concept is rounded out with the Brabus rear spoiler lip and the rear bumper with integrated clear-coated carbon-fiber diffusor and tailor-made cutouts for the Brabus sports exhausts system with two dual tailpipes. Tailor-made Brabus Monoblock alloys with diameters of 21 inches are available, with tires in size 255/35 ZR21 at the front and 295/30 ZR21 on the rear axle. There is also a 22-inch Brabus tire/wheel combination. The Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG 900 Rocket by Brabus is optionally available with the Brabus "iBusiness" multimedia system. It uses the latest generation of Apple computer technology for entertainment and global communication via phone and internet. The Brabus "iBusiness" multimedia system integrates an iPad mini tablet computer into the rear compartment. To this end, a special center console was developed, which is positioned between the two individual seats in the rear. It features a docking station and holds the tablet securely in place when not in use. It also recharges the battery of the computer. The entire system is integrated into the Brabus fine leather interior. It sports a combination of light-colored vellum and black. The passengers are welcomed to the interior by stainless-steel scuff plates with backlit Brabus logo, whose color alternates between red and white.
It was too small and had a fake sticker put on it. Due to the issues with the Leicester branch, I then booked into the Loughborough branch. On Friday 14th June, I dropped the car off. I then received a call saying the battery wasn’t genuine so my warranty was void and I had to pay just under £350 to have the battery replaced. Now I’m sure you can imagine, I was of course outraged, and refused to pay as this was the battery supplied with the car. I called Jaz too see what was going on, and why I was sold a faulty battery to begin with. He pulled up the test report and tried to deny this being the battery I was sold, so then refused to take responsibility or cover any cost. Please see the report and images of the battery attached. As you can see all the info on the sticker looks genuine, however looking at the side of the battery it’s far from that.
It looks like it maybe a 12v Battery which Is why it passed the test but because it’s not genuine which is why I have had problems with it dying. The Car is currently in the Loughborough branch and not working. They told me they’d put the originally battery back in, only for it to cause more problems. Now, I’ve been advised the power steering doesn’t work. Cracking job once again. So I have been left without a car (that I’m still paying for by the way). This has caused a lot of inconvenience and meant I have incurred financial loss. The amount of time and trouble I have had to go through jumping starting the car, taking it to garages and talking on the phone to your appalling customer service team has been an utter shambles. The only option I have been given is to pay the £350 or be without a car which I find laughable as this should be under warranty and the only people to look at the car are Mercedes Garages.
