Complaint:

After replacement and initial startup of one of the new/replaced EHS part numbers in the models specified above, the Distronic, Hold, Hill-Start

Assist, cruise control and variable speed limiter functions cannot be activated.

The problem can affect only the specified models up to production date July 1, 2008 with the new/replaced EHS part numbers listed below:

Check the EHS part number installed in the vehicle/transmission in each individual case

Software which is not optimized.

Remedy:

Flash affected vehicles with add-on 1375 DVD 01/2010.
