Roof Opening Panel Misaligned / Jammed - Repair Procedure
AFFECTED VEHICLE RANGE:
LR2 (LF) VIN: 8H000212 - Onwards
Model Year: 2008 - Onwards
CONDITION SUMMARY:
Situation:
The roof opening panel may be misaligned or jammed. This could be caused by the roof opening panel guide(s) being broken.
Action:
In the event of a customer concern of the above issue, install new roof opening panel guides by following the Repair Procedure outlined below.

1. Refer to Workshop Manual (GTR) section 501-17 and remove the roof opening panel glass for access only (steps 1-5).
CAUTION:
Take care while removing the roof opening panel guides as damage to the glass panel guides can occur.
2. Using a suitable tool, slide the roof opening panel guide rearwards until the front of the guide is released. (Figure 1)
3. Rotate the guide. (Figure 2)
4. Remove the guide. (Figure 3)
5. Repeat steps 1 - 4 on the remaining 3 guides.
INSTALL NEW ROOF OPENING PANEL GUIDES
NOTE:
Verify 'Left' and 'Right' guide before installing into the guide rail.

1. Position the rear of the guide into the guide rail. (Figure 4)
2. Rotate the front of the guide into the guide rail. (Figure 5)
3. Using a suitable tool, slide the guide forward. (Figure 6)
4. Verify the guide is fully located against the guide rail. (Figure 7)
5. Repeat steps 1 - 4 on the remaining 3 guides.
6. Refer to Workshop Manual (GTR) section 501-17 to install the roof opening panel glass.
7. Verify roof opening panel operation.
