The German automaker, Audi, made its biggest effort yet to compete with the competition with this TTS model. As the most powerful TT variation since its U.S. introduction in 2000, the TTS produces 264 horsepower from its 2.0 turbo inline-four with direct fuel injection. The massive engine outmuscles the standard turbo's 200 horsepower, and the optional 3.2-liter V6 TT's 250 horsepower. Not forgetting the AWD that's standard, and a six-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
With the 2011 TTS, Audi promises performance to be brisk, claiming that the vehicle can go from zero to 60 mph in just 4.9 seconds. Top speed, however, is limited to 155 mph. Other features on the TTS coming standard include magnetic adaptive shocks along with 18-inch wheels. The 2011 model also has some changes that are mostly cosmetic, such as a revised grille, and a new bumper design. The TTS remains one of Audi's super luxury vehicles that needs to be seen.
