CONDITION SUMMARY:

Situation:

Seat motor and drive cables are now available as serviceable parts. It is no longer necessary to replace the complete seat frame in the event a fore /

aft motor or either drive cable requires replacement

Action:

In the event of a fore I aft motor or drive cable replacement, refer to the Repair Procedure outlined below to install a seat motor or drive cable only.

DDW requires the use of causal part numbers. Labor only claims must show the causal part number with a quantity of zero.

when installing a left-hand seat cable, refer to Technical Bulletin LTB00176.

1. Refer to Workshop Manual, section 501-10: Seating > Removal and installation > Front seat Track Motor, and replace the seat motor.
