IF YOU CONFIRM:



There is a noise (clunking, knocking or popping) from the rear suspension area when going over bumps or on uneven roads.



ACTION:



Refer to steps 1 through 6 below to inspect for and correct possible misaligned rear suspension coil springs.



^ Confirm correct clearance from spring to spring cup.



^ Confirm the upper rubber seat is installed correctly.



^ Verify the spring is correctly positioned in upper rubber seat.

SERVICE PROCEDURE



1. Inspect the gap between the Rear Coil Spring and Spring Cup for being too close.

2. If the spring is too close (Step 1, Figure 1):



^ Confirm whether the upper rubber seat is installed completely or not (see Figure 2).



^ If not installed correctly/completely, rotate the rubber spring seat to engage completely.



3. If the upper rubber seat is installed completely (Figure 2), but the gap is too close (Figure 1):



^ Confirm whether the top of the coil spring is on the upper rubber seat correctly or not.



4. If you confirm misalignment of the upper rubber seat or coil spring (Figure 3), disassemble and then re-assemble correctly.
