Instrument Cluster Information Is Not Centered, Info Services Selection Gray And Not

Selectable, TEL Mode SMS or Notebook Gray and Not Selectable

For instances where the Instrument Cluster information is not centered, Information Services Selection Is gray and not selectable, or in TEL mode

the Notebook and SMS feature are gray and not selectable, please check and set the version coding for these parameters using Star Diagnosis.

The procedure for navigating to the correct SDS screen and settings follow:

(control units / information and communication / D2B - Comand or Audio / control unit adaptations / Read coding and change if necessary /

configuration of components not D2B)

Set the following parameters

^ Telephone with enlarged functionality - YES (This will enable notebook, sms, last calls etc)

^ STARGuide One Button Update Request - YES (This will enable info services. Note a 7/00 or higher Navi CD must be inserted in the system

and TeleAid must be present on D2B to activate info services.)

^ STARGuide Dynamic Route Guidance - NO (Not used in USA)

^ TV Tuner - NOT INSTALLED (Not used in USA)
