Load Space Front Trim Panel Retaining Strap Replacement
AFFECTED VEHICLE RANGE:
Range Rover Sport (LS) VIN: 6A900290 - Onwards
Model Year: 2006 - Onwards
CONDITION SUMMARY:
Situation:
The load space front trim panel may become loose or fits poorly. This may be caused by the bungee straps which retain the trim becoming
disconnected or broken.
Action:
In the event of a customer concern of the above, refer to the Repair Procedure outlined below to replace the load space front retaining strap.

REPAIR PROCEDURE
REPLACE LOAD SPACE FRONT TRIM PANEL BUNGEE CORDS

1. Fold the rear seat down so that the affected load space front trim panel rests in the horizontal position. (Figure 1)
NOTE:
There are two (2) bungee cords on each of the trim panels.
2. Lift affected load space front trim panel to gain access to bungee cord. (Figure 2)
3. Locate bungee cord upper fixing. (Figure 3)

4. Slide bungee cord fixing along channel it is located in towards the closest edge and remove from channel. (Figure 4)
5. Pull cord into the slot on one side of the plastic tube. The cord is now in line with the plastic tube. (Figure 5)
6. Push the plastic tube back through the lower hole; remove and discard complete bungee assembly. (Figure 6)
7. Repeat steps 3 - 6 to the other bungee cord of the affected load space front trim panel.
8. Reverse steps 6 - 3, installing two (2) new bungee cords.
9. Lower the load space front trim panel.
