RALEIGH, NC, February 18, 2019 - Triangle Rowing Club (TRC), the Triangle’s premier youth rowing program, is proud to announce that rower, Camryn Harris recently committed to row at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
Camryn Harris, daughter of Tchad Compton and Rufus Harris originally of Naperville, Illinois, is a senior at Cedar Ridge High School in Hillsborough, NC. In the Fall of 2019, she will be joining the Rutgers University Rowing Team, which was ranked in the top 30 last year in the NCAA Coaches Poll. She is interested in studying Psychology/Cell Bio and Neuroscience at Rutgers. Outside of rowing, Camryn is the editor of her high school yearbook and captain of the swim team. Her other interests include reading and sports medicine. She is an accomplished and experienced rower who came to TRC only a year ago. The Triangle Rowing Club is very proud of Camryn!
