Surround Camera System Camera Equalizers



AFFECTED VEHICLE RANGE:



CONDITION SUMMARY:



Situation:



On vehicles fitted with the Surround Camera System (not vehicles fitted with Parking Aid - Rear View Camera only), the camera image may be lost



and a blue screen is displayed.



Cause:



This may be caused by signal loss through the coax.



*NOTE: LR4 and Range Rover Sport vehicles experiencing a rear or front bumper camera blue screen concern and eligible for Service Action



Q179, perform the Repair Procedure as described in Technical Bulletin Q179NAS.*



NOTE:



For Range Rover vehicles experiencing a rear camera blue screen concern and eligible for Service Action Q140, perform the Repair Procedure



as described in Technical Bulletin Q140NAS. For vehicles experiencing an issue with a camera where an equalizer kit is not available, refer to



Technical Bulletin LTB00367NAS for further information.



Action: In the event of a customer concern of the above, refer to the Repair Procedure outlined below to install an equalizer kit(s).

DDW requires the use of causal part numbers. Labor only claims must show the causal part number with a quantity of zero.

REPAIR PROCEDURE



INSTALL NEW SURROUND CAMERA SYSTEM CAMERA EQUIALIZERS



NOTE:



Do not replace all camera equalizers. Only install a camera equalizer to a circuit which is displaying no image / blue screen.





1. Refer to Workshop Manual, section 418-02: Wiring Harnesses, and install new camera equalizers.





2. Verify Surround Camera System camera operation:
