How does the Tesla Model 3 perform in rollover tests?

The Tesla Model 3 has received generally positive safety ratings in crash tests, including rollover resistance tests conducted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The NHTSA evaluates the rollover risk of vehicles and assigns a Rollover Resistance Rating as part of its New Car Assessment Program (NCAP).

As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, the Tesla Model 3 has performed well in NHTSA's testing, receiving a five-star overall safety rating. The NHTSA has not reported any significant safety concerns related to rollover resistance for the Model 3.

It's important to note that safety ratings and test results may be updated as new model years are released, and testing protocols evolve. Always check the latest safety ratings and information from reputable sources, such as the NHTSA, for the most accurate and up-to-date details on the Tesla Model 3's performance in rollover tests.

In addition to government testing, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) also conducts safety evaluations, including rollover tests, and the Tesla Model 3 has performed well in IIHS testing, earning top safety ratings.
