2019 Suzuki Jimny [exterior Colour]

The 2019 Suzuki Jimny will be making its debut in July. Images shared online have revealed multiple aspects of the fourth generation model. Suzuki will offer the Jimny is single-tone and dual-tone colours. There appear to be two grades on offer - XC and XL. Only the former seems to get dual tone colour options. We will have more clarity on the exact colour and trim options once the vehicle gets listed officially on Suzuki's website. The designers of the 2019 Suzuki Jimny have taken a leaf out of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class booklet and adopted a very neo-retro approach. The boxy proportions give the Jimny a very utilitarian look while elements like projector headlamps, ORVM mounted turn indicators, split-spoke alloy wheels add a modern touch to the exterior. Suzuki will offer two iterations - Jimny & Jimny Sierra. The latter adds protective body cladding to the wheel arches and side edges along with beefier tires and a different set of alloy wheels. The interior follows the same design principle as the exterior. Some of the features present in the cabin include a touchscreen display for the infotainment system, automatic climate control, multifunction steering wheel among others. The 3-door hardtop Suzuki Jimny will offer seating for four. As per a recent report, the 2019 Suzuki Jimny will officially be unveiled on July 5 in Japan. Series production of the car is already underway in its home country. It will be offered with both manual and automatic transmission options and Suzuki's AllGrip AWD setup.

Further advanced technology is found in the Fusion's many active safety systems and driver aids. Our Sport was equipped with a lane-keeping system and a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert. Adaptive cruise control is standard on the Fusion Platinum, allowing the car to accelerate and stop itself based on surrounding traffic. That top-trim model also gets pre-collision assist with pedestrian detection, which warns of an impending collision and can apply the brakes for you if necessary. These systems are optional on the Fusion Sport. 995 system that can basically park for you, steering the car as you operate the pedals. With a 0-60 mph time of just 5.1 seconds, the 2018 Fusion Sport is fast. This is the only car in its class available with over 300 hp, and its acceleration is beyond any other mid-size family sedan. Heck, the Fusion Sport can easily outperform many German luxury sedans.

The sport-tuned suspension and the Sport鈥檚 standard 19-inch wheel and tires and all-wheel drive also provide impressive handling. There鈥檚 an admirable amount of grip, and the Fusion is fun to toss into a curve or a set of switchbacks. The steering also provides plenty of feel, while its comfortable ride is quite a feat considering its agility. Push the Sport button and the Fusion Sport gets even Sportier. Many buyers will be tempted to step up to the twin-turbo 2.7-liter V6 of the Fusion Sport. It's a great engine and its 325 horsepower can be intoxicating, but the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that鈥檚 available on most other trim levels is more than enough for most buyers. And it essentially matches the fuel economy of the much weaker 2.5-liter four. Also, before you buy, make sure the Fusion鈥檚 rear seat is large enough for your needs, as others in the class offer more backseat space. Keeping those caveats in mind, the 2018 Ford Fusion is a desirable choice if you鈥檙e looking for a well-equipped family-friendly sedan. It鈥檚 comfortable, stylish and fun-to-drive, and it鈥檚 a favorite in the very competitive mid-size sedan category.

At a time when so many new cars are turning hybrid or EV - and more often than not either a crossover or SUV - the slightly old school but still brand-new BMW Z4 comes as a refreshing interlude. Available with three different petrol engines and in three different specifications, the new front-engined, rear-wheel drive Z4 is aimed squarely at the driving enthusiast. And the engineers have an intriguing way of describing the difference between the old model and the new. The previous Z4 was a machine to drive on a Sunday afternoon, they say, ideally when the sun was shining but not necessarily when there was no one else around. The old Z4 wasn鈥檛, BMW now concedes, a full-blown sports car. But this new model, well that鈥檚 another matter - because the new Z4, the company claims, is a car to get up early for on a Sunday morning, long before anyone else is awake. Why the extra focus on driver appeal this time around?

One reason, and one reason alone: the unceasing success of the Porsche Boxster. BMW has seen sales of the Z4 drop by almost 30 per cent since its birth in 2002, many of which have gone to the Boxster, which has long been considered the most sporting two-seat roadster in this class. As such, weight is down by around 50kg across the range. That鈥檚 partly because the new canvas roof - which raises in just 10 seconds - is lighter, but also because the underpinnings are lighter and more focused, too. The boot is over 70 litres bigger, too - and it makes no difference if the hood is raised or lowered because the space on offer stays the same. But it鈥檚 the extra dynamic precision of the new Z4 that distinguishes it most clearly above its predecessor. That becomes pretty obvious from the moment you turn the key - especially the entry-level sDrive20i Sport. Elsewhere, the Z4 has grown up and got a lot more sophisticated, especially inside. All models come with a 10.25-inch touchscreen and fully digitised instruments with BMW鈥檚 latest connectivity software.
