Text
The Nissan Juke is set to come out in 2022 and has become the hottest topic of discussion amongst automotive enthusiasts.
The newest SUV by Nissan that is set to launch next has been the talk of the motor town for a bit now. Right from the first glimpse, it has left the audience startled with its amazing design and list of amazing features. The Japanese Automaker has had some big plans for Juke, which are soon to take the form of reality when the car hits the streets. The automobile, however, is most likely to be manufactured on an extended version of the CMF Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance platform.
The three giants individually have an untainted reputation for producing some of the finest automobiles the world has ever seen. So, with a conglomeration of the three, the vehicles to be built with the same module are bound to be flabbergasting. The Juke is expected to be shipped in several variants according to the engine type. The Nissan Juke has been in the turf for more than a decade now but seldom has disappointed folks. With its latest larger body concept to be inculcated in its newest generation, Nissan is set to launch it with a bang.
With all the talks, predictions, statements from the manufacturer, and some probable Easter eggs, here is everything we know about the Nissan Juke so far.

Juke is one of the tiniest SUVs that the Japanese automaker has made. This adorable compact crossover had astonished folks right from the time when it was launched over a decade ago. Despite having other competitors, Nissan Juke has been the primary choice of masses, owing to the build and reliability of the company. With its newest model, it only seems to get better.
The Juke is said to have a larger body than its previous generation. However, that does not imply that the SUV shall look humongous. It shall still hit the streets with a not-so-huge yet strong look. The Juke is said to have drawn inspiration from its sibling, Micra, and shall derive the hatchback's V-motion grille, giving the front a larger look. In addition, the rear of the car shall be rid of the excess length and is expected to have a more angular and chiseled profile.

There has been debate around the variants on which the car shall arrive. Though there is still no actual confirmation, the automobile is expected to ship in three different variants. The first being the petrol variant that shall have a 1-liter turbocharged engine. This model shall be potent of churning up to 115 bhp and will be packed with a six-speed manual transmission box to complement the engine. The all-new Juke shall hit 60mph from 0 in just 10.4 seconds.
Another variant of Juke shall pack a 1.5-liter diesel engine that produces 109bhp underneath its hood. None of these two models shall have four-wheel drive. It is believed that Nissan has reserved the all-wheel-drive for a higher variant that shall offer an automatic transmission. There are speculations concerning the fact if the Juke shall possess an electric or a hybrid engine. However, Nissan has made no statements about it, but considering the company's rigorous research and testing with electric vehicles, it is not the most unlikely possibility to have a hybrid engine packed in the Juke.
The Juke has gone through some significant changes and shall roll out as a sportier version of its predecessor. The sides and front have a more angular appeal; likewise, the car shall have a larger wheelbase. Alongside all of this, the vehicle shall have a build that is light in weight yet robust.
The inside of the Nissan Juke has been crafted by keeping the modern design philosophy in mind. The interior of the car is not cluttered with amenities that make it baffling for the driver. It shall come with a touchscreen at the center that shall function as a guide as well as an infotainment device. Adjoining, on both sides, are the smoothly-curved C-shaped air vents. Under which are a bunch of controls for controlling the functions of the car. Likewise, the steering wheel shall feature some controls that are easy to interpret.
The color of the interior can vary as per the model and the exterior color of the car. Although there are not many fancy things on the inside, it does the necessary job without any unnecessary clutter or traffic, giving it a minimalistic finish.

Nissan already started taking booking requests for the Juke for almost more than a year. The automaker promises that the car shall first roll in the UK. Initially, Nissan had stated that the car should be out on the streets by mid-2022. However, seeing the rigorous production, it shall arrive early towards the start of next year.
It is expected that the new generation of Juke shall be a tad bit more expensive than its predecessor. With the new design, a powerful and fancy tech packed in the car, the Juke shall wear a price tag starting at around $20,000. With the variants and specifications, the figure may vary slightly, although not extensively.
Being one of the most trusted automakers worldwide, Nissan is likely to give the masses more than they expect with the new generation of Juke. While the Japanese automobile giant eyes to capture the global market with its new launch, it might have to be wary of its competitors who are equally awe-inspiring, if not more. Some of the possible competitors for the Juke can be the Renault Captur, Skoda Kamiq, Citroen C3 Aircross, and Jeep Renegade.
However, one thing is for sure, with such intense buzz around the Juke, it will surely give the auto fanatics something to talk about once it is on the street.
