Those on the hunt for a midsize pickup truck may remember that the Nissan Frontier just had an update in 2020. While it got a brand new engine and transmission, Nissan was saving the good stuff for the third generation. The redesigned 2022 Nissan Frontier promises to be more powerful, more capable, and more stylish than ever. And the list of safety and technology features goes on for quite a while, too.
The Nissan Frontier has been on the road for 15 years, and what better way to celebrate this milestone than with a massive make-over. Though the relatively new engine will stay on board, Nissan has made some really big changes to the 2022 Frontier. In fact, the entire Nissan lineup seems to be undergoing a major shift in personality and capability, which makes drivers even more excited to see what these changes will bring to a highly sought-after midsize truck such as the Frontier.

Additional technology - in some cases offered for the first time - will make the Nissan Frontier a more worthy work partner, increasing towing, safety, and drivability. While Nissan has long built highly-capable midsize trucks, the all-new 2022 Frontier is in a class of its own and deserves the attention of any driver shopping for a new truck.
