when driving in a straight line at a constant speed greater than 20 km/h (13 mph), and will vary as the vehicle changes direction.
Circuit/System Testing
1. Verify that DTC U1826 or U1827 and not set.
瀚慖f DTCs are set, refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle (See: Diagnostic Trouble Code Descriptions/Diagnostic Trouble
Code (DTC) List - Vehicle).
2. Verify the yaw/lateral accelerometer sensor is mounted properly.
瀚慖f not mounted properly, refer to Vehicle Yaw Sensor with Vehicle Lateral Accelerometer Replacement (See: Brakes and Traction
Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction Control Systems/Yaw Rate Sensor/Service and Repair).
3. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the yaw/lateral accelerometer sensor.
4. Ignition OFF, wait 1 minute, test for less than 10 ohm between the low reference circuit terminal 6 and ground.
瀚慖f greater than the specified range, test the low reference circuit for an open/high resistance. If the circuits test normal, replace the EBCM.
5. Ignition ON, test for B+ between the ignition voltage circuit terminal 1 and ground.
瀚慖f not within the specified range, test the ignition voltage circuit for a short to ground or open/high resistance. If the circuits test normal,
replace the EBCM.
6. If all circuits test normal, replace the yaw/lateral accelerometer sensor.
Repair Instructions
Perform the Diagnostic Repair Verification (See: Verification Tests) after completing the diagnostic procedure.
* Vehicle Yaw Sensor with Vehicle Lateral Accelerometer Replacement (See: Brakes and Traction Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction
Control Systems/Yaw Rate Sensor/Service and Repair)
* Control Module References (See: Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning) for EBCM replacement, setup and programming

Diagnostic Instructions
* Perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle (See: Testing and Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview/Diagnostic System
Check - Vehicle) prior to using this diagnostic procedure.
* Review Strategy Based Diagnosis (See: Testing and Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview/Strategy Based Diagnosis) for an
overview of the diagnostic approach.
* Diagnostic Procedure Instructions (See: Testing and Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview/Diagnostic Procedure
Instructions) provides an overview of each diagnostic category.
DTC Descriptor
DTC C0201 04
- Antilock Brake System (ABS) Enable Relay Contact Open Circuit
Circuit/System Description
The solenoid relay, located within the electronic brake control module (EBCM), supplies battery voltage to all of the valve solenoids.
Conditions for Running the DTC
* Ignition ON.
* Ignition voltage is greater than 10 volts.
* The solenoid relay is commanded ON.
Conditions for Setting the DTC
* The EBCM detects an open in the battery positive voltage circuit to the solenoid valve relay.
* The EBCM detects a stuck open solenoid valve relay or an open circuit between the solenoid valve relay and solenoids.
Actions Taken when the DTC Sets
